Project Overview
When Clover approached us to redesign the sound for their POS system, we saw an opportunity to transform the often rushed and frustrating experience into something seamless and delightful. Focusing on speed and ease, we reimagined sound to enhance these key elements while redefining its role in the process.
Reframing the Transaction
Cash registers and ATM readers typically produce harsh, jarring sounds, but during our discovery phase, we saw an opportunity for a softer, more organic soundscape. By blending piano and metallic accents, we crafted melodic, optimistic tones that reflect the product’s essence, replacing the usual beeps with functional, brand-aligned sounds.
